Our trailer has a 30 amp plug, but when we're home, we use our 20 amp household plug. We've used the typical smaller plugs to go from a 30 amp to 20 amps., but have found it's not the easiest to use, as it is small, in terms of having an area to hang onto for plugging in from the trailer, as well as connecting to household current.We consider this plug a nice luxury as it's very easy to hold onto with the nice curvy structure, has a bright yellow color, which is easy to see in our camping box and has some depth for pushing and pulling when dealing with the connections. I highly recommend this 30 amp to 20 amp plug!

This plug works great and is made large enough to get a firm grip on it. I had to buy a cord that was about a foot long with the same connections because my local store was out of Camco brand, the other brand was $29! I placed this order and returned the other connector. The bright yellow helps it stand out in dark bins and when it is left on the ground at the camp site. 6 stars!

Easy to grip, large size may interfere with things near plug. I had to trim a half inch off the 15A side to work with my Honda EU2200i generator. In most places, the larger size helps support weight of a heavy cord.

I have been using this product for about two weeks. So far I have had no problems at all, it has worked perfectly. I clicked 4 stars rather than 5 on the weather proof section because: while I am using the product outside it is under a roof so subject only to dampness not rain.
