Wasn't sure this was the correct replacement for my overhead RV bathroom vent until I disassembled the old one. Sure enough, it was one of the 5 brand/year listed replacements with instructions on the box. Fairly easy once I got up there and figured out how to remove the old one. Great product. Perfect fit!

I worked in a few RV shops in my time. I always recommend the best a person can afford. These are no different. Camco is a majo player in the RV parts world. I trust them over many other brands, because they last, and are a US based company. This roof vent lid is a typical product. Good shipping box, well built, good materials. You can tell what brand your old one is by the rear hinge. There are 2 main styles, plus 1 not so often used one. These slide over the base vent, then you twist down tabs on both sides to secure it from coming off. Easy peasy. While the lid is off, paint on a nice layer of roof sealant, if it's been awhile. That's much easier with no lid to worry about smearing on. Hope this helps you!

i liked that it fit! wasn't to sure on where to measure but it did fit. To make it last longer I hope I also added a vent hood in the event it is accidently left in the open position regardless of traveling of sitting.

Long story here. So..We just had what I called..A summer mini monsoon and deluge. My vent cover on my fifth wheel had blown off 2 months prior, but I waited too long to have my grandson climb on top to install it. It was summer so I kind of pushed it back. Big mistake. The summer rain and flooding lasted an hour, during which time I dug the diversion trench wider and deeper while he had to climb up during it to install this cover. I was so afraid he would slip and fall off because of being up on top too long, but with no exaggeration, he installed it in less than 2 minutes, and without tools. A solid fit which plugged the vent and saved me from more damage. The lever to open and shut works too. This cover was even better than expected

Did the job to replace hail damaged vent on fifth wheel camper. Good quality plastic extrusion and good fit Just confirm the proper brand vent to fit before you order.

I purchased 3 of these vent covers. I didn’t realize how brittle the UV radiation made these covers. So easy to install. Getting up on to the roof of my RV took more time then installing one of the covers. The only problem was that they could slide off after the installation. So I bent the ends to solve this problem.
