Like another reviewer, I had a PVC pipe cut off at the concrete. SO glad Amazon had this! It works like a charm to run hose out of a cut off PVC pipe with no room for a regular external attachment.

I am a licensed plumber and I did not know these existed. I purchased a hurricane damaged house where someone had cut the drain pipes at the concrete floor. With this coupling, I was able to avoid chipping up the concrete. Worked great and saved me a ton of time and money.

Only drawback was the Part bar code and California Prop 65 Cancer warning stickers were stuck on the mating surfaces. Pain to clean off.

Great snug fit for coupling 2" pvc.... especially if you need to couple inside a PVC pipe -that is inside another PVC fitting.
