I purchased this set as an engagement gift for our daughter and her now-wife. I got this for my husband. He likes to go camping and cooking in the outdoors. He was very excited He got his own camping cooking utensils instead of using our household. This camp kitchen kit has everything you could need. Just took it for a weekend trip. Easy to clean, good quality items. Knives are sharp and good quality. Silverware is sturdy and great quality. Everything fits easily right back into the carrying case which comes with a shoulder strap and is also durable great quality material.

I keep three backpacks handy in case of hurricanes or floods, as I have had to bug out due to them a few times.I have a first aid bag, a rocket stove, a picnic bag with utensils, plates, etc, a multi tool, and this.This has everything you would need to cook decent meals for your family either in the wilderness or after a disaster. My home is pretty much self sufficient, but on one Hurricane we had to bug out in kayaks as the water rose. It gives me peace of mind to know I can toss three bags in the hull of my kayak, get to safety, and be able to take care of and feed my family.I am not a “prepped†per say ,but I have been through enough natural disasters (shower your kids under a waterfall anyone, or go a month without power ?)I simply like to be self reliant, because help after a natural distaste does not alway come soon. Being able to make a nice meal does a lot to keep moral and energy up.

These reviews are hilarious. You bought a $40 cooking set off Amazon. What exactly were you expecting?Yes, the utensils etc are small, cheap utensils. But they are absolutely good enough for camping. I've used these on many trips and I get by just fine. Don't expect Ferrari quality when you're paying dollar store prices and you'll be just fine! Lol
