This tent was everything I need for my Valentines Day camping trip. It was super easy to set up, it's huge and definitely lightweight. It has a rainfly and a bottom so you are completely protected the little pockets on the inside are a plus. Inside the tent wasnt very warm so a blanket is definitely neeed but love it. It didn't rain so I'm not sure about how it would be in wet weather but from what i experience it was very practical and sturdy. It was also easy to break down, took me less than 5 mins...once you know what to do its a breeze.Great buy....ps buy a blow up base if you don't like the hard ground.

I bought this tent for me and my daughter so I could get her use to camping. My plan is to camp in the back yard until she gets use to it and then we can move on to campgrounds. I set it up Memorial Day weekend in the back yard for our first night. The set up was kind of difficult and here’s why, it felt very cheap. I had a very hard time getting the poles into the hooks on the bottom, the poles made snapping and cracking sounds and I was very worried they were going to snap. Once I got them on without breaking them the rest of the set up was a breeze except for the pole that goes on the rain fly. I had to fight with that to get it on. It’s also not 7x7 on the inside, I’m 5 11 and I couldn’t fit without my head and feet touching. Once the set up was complete it was time to camp. The night we camped we had severe thunderstorms in the forecast and everyone was saying not to camp that night but I was to impatient and did it anyways. About 1am the storm started and it rained A LOT it was medium to heavy rain and high winds from 1am until 5am and the tent stayed pretty dry and held up great in the wind. There was only one very small leak (I’m not sure from where) but it let a very small amount of water in, not enough to worry about. So we stayed dry and safe from the wind all night. The next morning I took the tent down about 8am before the next round of storms and the take down is very quick. I took it down in 18mph winds and had it packed up in less then 5 minutes so it’s easy to take down in a hurry. Other then I was worried about the poles breaking this is such a great tent for the price. I’m very satisfied with it so far. I plan on camping in this a lot this summer and based on our first night in it I’m pretty confident that it’s going to be a very good addition to our camping adventures.

I like this tent, this is actually the second I've purchased. I got the first from a returns warehouse sale for $7 right after signing my kids up for cub scouts. Scouting is not cheap so this was like a sign from the heavens that I was doing the right thing. Thankfully, it had all the pieces and no damage. My two kids and I have used it for probably 5 camping trips over the last 2 years. It's easy enough for me to put up alone, though definitely helps to have a second person. Packs back up into its bag pretty easily and has stayed dry inside in swampy, coastal humidity and a thunderstorm. My son is crossing over to Boy Scouts and will be camping without me so he took our lime green tent and I bought myself a new dark green one. It's just as great!

As soon as I put this tent together, I loved it. Was easy to set up, has a built-in tarp bottom to it so the tent doesn't get soaked, has lots of room and has nice storage pockets inside for phones/wallets etc. My only complaint; the rain fly pole broke presumably because of the amount of tension being too much. The tent wasn't even up for 24 hours... no wind. These tent poles seem pretty flimsy and cheap. I loved the price of this tent, so I didn't expect everything to be luxury and quality, but this is the first time I used this tent and the pole snaps due to tension from the position/design of the rain fly awning. Not an ideal situation. Tape won't fix this. Unfortunately, I really love this tent but will probably return it for a replacement. All in all, tent is really nice and the canvas part of it had no issues, so no complaints with the tent itself. But these poles are lacking.

I like the size of the tent.I would familiarize myself with the setup before using it on a camping trip. The pools and tent work well but if you’re not familiar with setting up tents you might break the poles. If I could change anything it would be to make the tent more breathable, the outer shell sits close to the main tent allowing limited flow of air.Well worth the price

This was my first tent and it was amazing! I knew it was going to rain and it held through a a couple huge Colorado thunderstorms in one weekend. I bought a tarp to run underneath and everything stayed dried!Pictured is one of the storms coming in and the small pooling of water after. I even had to go in and out and couple times during the rain and water did not get in unless I accidentally hit the little rain cover right about the entrance. The ONlY issue is the zippers do get caught in the little fabric basically every time you open and close the door. That could maybe be altered with some fabric tape but for the price, this tent was a life saver!I bought the 3 person size and it fit a twin sized air mattress perfectly with some extra space for bags and snacks.I highly recommend!

This tent is OLD.Fiest, the rubber bands that were holding the poles together crumbled, which is a clear sign they were old. Then,. The bungees inside the tent poles had no working elastic. It is a good thing we set it up indoors as a trial first! How many years was this tent sitting around in a warehouse?
