Needed additional chain for the lights I purchased. Also, the lights came with a black cord through the chain. The chain in this kit is chrome and the cord is clear plastic, so it worked out perfect. Also, this one kit contained enough chain and cord to change two lights and still have some left over. The kit only has two hooks and I swagged my lights so I ordered two additional hooks that turned out to be an exact match.

I just moved into a new apartment with no overhead lighting. I bought this chandelier 7 or 8 years ago to go in a dressing room at my salon. Never could get it to work there, but I saved it. So glad I did! I used this swag kit to turn this hard wire fixture into a swag. It has everything you need, including swag hooks. It’s quite easy and I had this up in less than 30 minutes. Admittedly, this isn’t my first rodeo. I had done this to the previous chandelier over my vanity. That one was needed in my home office. 10/10

Good for the price, however I needed about another two feet, to reach the wall outlet. The chain was long enough, however the cord was not. the switch was a bit of a bear to install.

I found an old stained glass hanging lamp in a dumpster . It was in good shape except the cord was missing. After cleaning it up , I realized it was quite beautiful and bought this cord kit. It came with everything I needed to repair it AND hang it over a small round table off of our living area. It took me about an hour to repair it and hang it up. My wife loves it and so do I. You can't go wrong with this repair kit if you need one.

The chain kit did what it needed to do. Though it's much closer to black than "bronze." I used it to swag a hanging lamp about four feet from the ceiling light outlet. The chain is fairly light weight but is easy to work with and should support any typical hanging light.The description says it can be used for a ceiling fan light. I can't envision that.Just be sure that you want very dark bronze.
