Pros: Strong Hook and Loop Straps, Substantial Material, Good Closures, Many Hook and Loop Straps.Cons: Would be nice if the diameter was about 2-3 inches largerUse: As designed, to hold down tent or canopy, Bike Panniers for Mountain BikeObservations: So, I bought these for a completely alternate use - Bike Panniers. I have a traveling mountain bike that I use vs hiking. I do not need huge luggage sized Panniers for overnight and short stay camping and these were perfect. I can put two on each side of my rear luggage rack, one on the down or main tube, and one on the handle bar. I can easily carry food and some essentials without the bulk of larger panniers. I can also attach them to my Backpack and use them for additional storage on it. They appear to be made of waterproof material but the hook and loop closure would definitely allow water in eventually, during a hard rain or deep river crossing. My only wish, is that these were about 2-3 inches greater in diameter. Then they would be perfect for my alternate use. Still a great addition to my travel bike.

Bought a set of these last year to hold down a “carport†that we actually use for outdoor gatherings. They worked great for the several months they were used last year. They were then stored for the winter (with the sand in them) in a heated garage so they could “dry outâ€. We put them back on the carport this season and they seemed fine. A gust of wind blew the carport over a week or so ago and one of the bags actually “fell apart†in the process. The fabric was weakened right at the level of the top of the sand. It ripped in two in a very clean pattern. The bottom section remained intact and hardly lost any of the sand. But the fabric is ripped completely and beyond repair. It would be like pulling on a sock and the top few inches of the sock rip right off in a band shape. Anyway, these still were exactly what we needed and we knew they wouldn’t “last forever†(nothing ever does anymore), so I ordered TWO sets this time. We are going to add a couple extra to the carport to secure it better and we’ll still have “extras†to use when the next one (from last years original batch) decides to “give wayâ€. These are perfect for our needs. Addendum… I read another review of these bags where the purchaser put them in the laundry. I would not recommend that, it will only shorten their lifespan dramatically.

I have had a set of these weights in place for a little over a week. I was in need of something to keep the pool umbrellas from flying out of the pool deck sockets. This product seemed reasonably priced. Just happened to be walking by my recycling bin when I noticed the empty SAM'S club vinegar containers. Turns out they fit the bags like a glove. Filled the containers with sand and slid them into the new white bags. This should help prolong the life of the bag and keep from getting funky from the rain - as apposed to simply filling the bags with sand. Hopefully the plastic containers will reinforce the weights (distributing the weight equally on the seams) plus keep the bags over-all free of excessive moisture. Only time will tell if it works out and was a wise purchase.

These bags were perfect for my first craft fair. I took the risk of ironing on my logo and it worked.

Worked great for holding down the steel tripod legs for my backdrop stand. I liked that these sandbags look nicely finished, making them presentable enough for indoor use.

These are quite nice and sturdy. They hold more sand then I originally thought and stay upright with little difficulty.

À part la couleur, ils sont parfaits. Seul souci pour moi : ils ne sont pas blancs mais gris, or dans mon cas cela ne va pas car ils étaient censés ''se fondre'' dans un décor blanc.
