We use pop up tents for weekend activities during most seasons other than winter. While we do tie them down when we can to tent stakes, there are times when we are on a paved surface and can't use them and that's why we got these...they work to hold down the corners so you don't have to deal with fly away shelters, which often result in their destruction and a need to replace them. We've seen it happen to others and it's happened to us.This set of leg weights is meant to be prefilled before use with sand. Some might be tempted to use small stones/gravel and I'd not recommend that. These are lightweight items, not really as heavy duty as I would prefer, but with care, there's no reason why these shouldn't hold up well to most people's needs and the price for them is very good. The bags are easy to fill and easy to use. When filled with sand, each one weighes in at 30+ lbs, so you're weighting your pop up with over 100lbs at the corners, which should be enough to keep it in place...and if you're dealing with more wind than it's always best to take the tent down anyway...and these bags do not slow down folding the units up.As long as you don't mind carrying and storing these bags all filled up with sand, they are a good choice to keep your pop up from going walk about when a gusty wind hits it.

Idk why I thought it would come with sand, but it does not, haha. The bags are decently sturdy so far. Ive used them a couple times. The handles on top make it easy to carry them around. Velcro seems to be not TERRIBLY secure to the bag, like it MAY tear eventually, but it won't be today! Ill definitely get a bunch of use out of it before that happens. I also like the lime green color so nobody accidently trips over them or anything. Very happy with my purchase.

Filled the bags with pebbles to make it easier to clean up if they spilled. Did 1 event with gusty winds - Approximately 5hrs - had spare 45lb tubes of sand on canopy 'walls'.After 1 use some of the bags are worn through (pebbles barely staying in) - the rest seems alright, I'll patch with duct tape and see if I can get some years out of them, the rest seems fine!

These work as expected. The loop on top makes it easier to open the velcro - because it's very strong stuff and hard to pull apart otherwise.The opening is big - easy to use a scoop to fill.The velcro ties are about 3" long so they'll easily fit around a 1" post or the tents with the larger hexagon posts.
