Whoever designed this is my saving grace. You can make the straps as big or as small as you want. I used the sandbags to wrap around the legs of a pergola. The base of the legs are 1x1’ and the bags wrapped around easily with plenty of extra strap. I filled with rocks and sand 3/4 of the way, velcro the bags shut and they held the pergola down with 60+ mph winds. We would have lost the pergola without these. Quality is great, this will last many summers unlike plastic sandbags.

I love these. Easy to fill. Easy to transport. Easy to connect. We can get some pretty high winds and these keep my stuff stable. Would recommend them.

The sand bags that came with my carport were not very big and so I bought these to pair with it. Thankfully they arrived literally in the middle of a huge snow storm and the port was starting to get blown around a little. I quickly filled these up as soon as they were delivered and my carport has since not even budged. They seem really well made and sturdy as well.

This review is for the 240 lb. version w/ 4 packs at 60lbs. each. Each pack has 2 cylinders at 30lbs. each.Just received this a few days ago. I needed something to weigh down my rooftop pergola. Because it's on my rooftop deck, I didn't feel comfortable drilling into the deck membrane to secure with bolts (caused leaks on other rooftop decks). First things first. The dimensions on the individual bags are as follow: Height (Top to Bottom) 14"; 18" to top of handle. Width (Side to Side) at widest point" 22"; Depth/Diameter 6" per cylinder Xs 2 + 3" for the middle section, for a total of 15". The straps are 33" long w/o buckles. Buckles are 2 1/2" each. The dimensions in the Amazon listing are incorrect. So far I've filled one pack and attached to one leg of my pergola. The bags appear to be well made. The stitching appears strong. I'm a little concerned about the durability of the bags because the material feels pretty thin. There have been some complaints that the bags didn't hold up, but no indication of the length of time they were in use before they failed. I'm using small pebble gravel instead of sand. To be on the safe side, I'm using heavy plastic shopping bags inside the cylinders to hold the pebbles instead of putting them directly inside the cylinders. The bags are filled approximately 80%. I'll fill in the remaining 20% when all of the bags are partially filled. I only gave this product 4 stars because it's too early to tell how well they'll hold up over the long-run. I'll update this review in 6 months or so.

Perfect weight to hold our market canopy in place. Zippers don’t always stay in place though so you have to watch them.

This review is for the 240 pound version. I don’t write many product reviews and especially not before a decent amount of usage, but I am making an exception with this. I am new to the vending and have done only one outdoor show so far so I cannot attest to the durability of these. What I can say is that I am glad that I chose this option over others because if your 10’ X 10’ canopy starts to blow away with these attached you need to seek indoor shelter immediately. They hold a 50 pound bag of play sand each and I guess if you felt like it you could get another five pounds in each side of the bag. I don’t feel that is at all necessary. Once you have these attached your canopy is not moving. They are reasonably easy to fill, just use a pitcher of some sort and tamp the sand down as you fill. In the grand scheme of expenses, if the bags last one show they are worth every penny. I might add that they are not huge or difficult to move around like some other types of weights.

I have a car canopy and am unable to get augers into the ground to secure the canopy. So I opted for these weight bags. I filled with gravel and they work GREAT.

These sandbags seem to be made of quality material, however, all of the bags are not the same size. One set of bags are smaller than the other three sets. When filled, each bag of the one set measures about 19" in circumference (bags on left in pic). The bags on the other three sets measure about 24" in circumference.

Straps to keep them around posts are right size adjustable compared to other brands I have tried.
