Product meets the demand for many layers while pastels adhere well to places laid down on the paper; very similar to Pastelmat. The edges of the pad were slightly bent but not enough to impact the visible portion when matted or framed.

I finally bought a pad of this paper after so many had said how remarkable it is. It is very good- holds a lot of pastel layers and comes in several colors. The reason I gave it 3 stars was that the border of each sheet is pre-set and has the manufacturer's logo on both ends in VERY LARGE print! This limits how each art piece can be mounted.

I bought this for my artist son-in-law for Christmas. It’s really good paper. He has some amazing artwork on it. The pic I put up is of one he’s done in pastels on the black paper
