Takes a firm grip to operate, but not as bad as some others I've used. Works perfectly with my CAP barbell.

I did buy these for a CAP bar, for the best compatibility. They definitely are made well for a secure fit.

i know the description states clearly these are not designed for threaded bars, but i bought them anyway with fingers crossed. unfortunately, they really are too big for the threaded standard bar. what i did though is simply attach a somewhat thick zip tie through each one. now it works because the diameter of the clip is slightly smaller due to the zip tie. it looks a bit funky and sometimes i have to adjust the zip tie around so the clip will slide over the threads more easily, but once i've released the tension on the clip it holds my weights in place just fine. it's certainly not perfect, but it sure beats spending 2 or more minutes spinning those stupid spin lock collars every time i want to switch out my weights!! i know this is not an ideal fix, but i thought i would share how i rigged mine up to work for me in case it helps give you an idea of how to also make it work for you! i personally just absolutely refuse to use those spin lock collars anymore. i switch my weights up multiple times during most of my workouts and those spinners are way too time consuming. your muscles have frozen over by the time you've changed weights! lol

I needed another set of clamps, and these are really well made and heavy duty. Good buy for the money.

on my 1 inch bar with straight ends works good. bit my other bar that has ends where you have screw on ends.. dosnt fit at all. not their fault. just diff style

The spring holders work really well and holding my weight plates on my exercise bench. They are very well made and is very easy to slip-on the pole that my weight plates go on. I highly recommend this product.

Compré unas mancuernas, barras en chedraui y también en walmart, el sistema de torninollos es pésimo y poco duradero, estos resortes resolvieron el problema de mejor manera y por el mecanismo es muy durable.
