Usage Guidelines
- Surface Preparation:Prior to applying the adhesive tape, wipe the installation surface with a dry towel to remove stains, dust, and oil residues. A clean surface ensures optimal adhesion.
- Cold Weather Precautions:In cold environments, it is recommended to preheat the weather strip to ensure flexibility and enhance the adhesive's effectiveness. This will allow for better adhesion after the backing adhesive becomes active.
- Avoid Excessive Manipulation:If the initial adhesion feels weak after application, refrain from repeatedly tearing and reapplying the strip. Instead, press firmly, and let the adhesive undergo a 24-hour chemical reaction. Adhesive strength will improve over time.
- Ensure Firm Adhesion:After application, press firmly to ensure that the weather strip's backing adhesive adheres tightly to the installation surface. This step is crucial for an effective seal.
- Handle with Care Post-Application:Avoid forcefully pulling or stretching the weather strip after application. Refrain from washing the car within the first three days, and avoid frequent opening and closing of the car door within the initial 24 hours.
- Temporary Tightness Post-Installation:After installation, the car door closes tighter. Do not worry, as this will gradually improve within 2-3 days. Allow time for the weather strip to settle and conform to the door frame.

This seal was real easy to install. It sticks on strong and I definitely noticed the difference after installing it on the doors for my Genesis GV70.Its a bit thin though but it doesnt affect the ability to close the doors, though you have to apply a bit more force than before installation.Great value for the money and I ordered two more to go round my hood and trunk

I prefer this type to other variations because the compressed figure offers better sound deadening. The adhesive sticks well as long as you clean the work surface and use the provided wipes. You can use alcohol wipes if necessary. I am unsure how long it will hold its shape, but overall, this is a good deal for the price.

Easy to install, just peel and stick. But this stuff made a HUGE difference on the cabin house of my vehicle. Night and day difference. Would recommend to any with wind noise or in my case engine noise from under the seats as my seats are access hatches to work on the motor. Really sealed up the gap between seat bottom and body of the truck, looks factory as well. Donรขโฌโขt know it didnรขโฌโขt come like this to begin with

My old door gaskets were torn, so I threw these inside of them and they work great. However, their adhesion is bad so I recommend cleaning the surface then applying glue before installing. Overall, I recommend.

Great design but peel and stick is garbage. Used contact cement for a perfect fit. DONT over do it!
