These light have exceeded my expectations. They look so good in my car and the app is convenient to use and I can change colors or whatever I need to do. Many compliments come my way when people see the lights.

I installed these using switched power in addition to having a switch inline. They provide footwell illumination while the vehicle is in motion without using the main interior lights. Ideally you want to mount these so that lights aren't actually visible but the light they produce is to produce a soft ambient glow. On the topic of lead length I would say that they are barely long enough to route a pair under the seats and another under the dash and still plug into a 12v socket. The primary issue is that the leads aren't able to be unplugged so you have to choose places to run them through that will allow the whole light to pass through. Or try to tuck the wiring (which isn't always possible). I feel these would be significantly better if each light unplugged and you could just pull the wiring back to the controller. Aside from that they function well and are inexpensive. They even seem to be somewhat durable.

I ordered these lights to spice-up the interior of my car when driving at night, which they do. I cannot speak to the lights' adhesiveness, since I have yet to decide if I'll permanently install these in my primary vehicle, or if they are going to end up in my camping van. It might be tricky to make it look tidy/appropriate in the van, since the 12 V socket is high-up on the dashboard (a lot of the wiring would be visible).These are not super high-tech.1. Ideally these would be rechargeable and bluetooth/wireless, to make for a cleaner looking install.2. There are supposedly 15 static colors on the remote control, but only a handful of them are true (for example, there is an Orange selection, but when pressing on that button I certainly didn't get anything even remotely close to Orange lighting). When going through all of the color choices, I saw a good red, green, blue, purple, and white, but then mostly a bunch of other whites with a slight tints to them (many of those appearing almost identical).3. I tried a variety of musical styles to see if I could REALLY see the lights following the beats, but the jury is still out on how well these lights synchronize with the music being played. They SEEMED to match the music a little better at times when I turned the volume up, but it's honestly not the easiest thing to clearly determine. And it stands to reason that when you turn off the music the lights would stop responding, but they just kept right on flashing to some type of beat that wasn't there; this makes me suspect that the lights are just alternating colors without any regard to the music being played. I'm no expert on lighting, but it seems like the working of the music feature would be much more obvious in a higher-tech product.That being said, these lights will add a colorful glow to your cabin, in at least a handful of color choices (perhaps you'll get oranges and pinks and baby-blues if you download the phone app). If your expectations are really high, then you may be disappointed. But if you can be satisfied with these creating a nice ambiance to your vehicle's interior at the 15 dollar price point, then you should be as satisfied with this purchase as I am.

I recently did get a new car and I did want some cute little underglow lights for my feet because I do tend to lose my lip glosses or my hair ties or my bobby pins on the floor- and I needed some lights to just let me see on the floor and also to match up to my music and so far this has been a really great addition! I just plug it into one of my adapter slots and the lights come on super pretty! I also match them up to just the regular flow of the timer and it looks so cool when I turn the car on

I got these for my daughter for her new car.They were pretty straightforward to install.The adhesion isn't the best and we had to use our own adhesives to keep it from falling.The lights work great!There are so many color choices, too.It's not bad and would recommend!

This isn’t working at all. Have no idea how this will work with so much cord. There is no way this will look nice with the cords like crazy. I couldn’t even figure out how to install this.
