Make sure to measure your vehicle’s window! Amazon said this would fit my 2020 Honda Ridgeline rear window, but it was way too big! The item seemed to be good quality for the sheer sunshade that it is, and comes with suction cups, to secure it to your window. I had to return it, however, because it did not fit my vehicle.

The mesh material does work to keep the sun and extra heat from getting to you. But that goodness is offset by the fact that the two absolutely stunningly awful rubber suction cups used to attach it to the window are abysmally bad. Every other time, they will stick and hold OK..at least for a while. Then they will lose their stick. Needs a total new redesign. Another poor design , is not reinforcing the mesh right around the holes with some kind of material to strengthen the hole for the suction cups. As you can see from the pic, repeated use will probably cause yours to tear. Overall effective idea, needs some redesign.

I needed to shade out the rear window of my car for privacy. The cost of having it tinted was over a hundred bucks, so I ordered this. I got the largest one available and situated it in my Nissan Sentra rear window. It almost holds in place by the tension of it in the window edges, but needed a bit of keeping it in position. The suction cups are worthless so I used wide black electrical tape to tape it in place onto the window glass. Works like a charm! Even stays in place when the windows are down and air is blowing into the cabin. All I needed and the price can't be beat.

I have a small car and this was a bit big for my side car window, doable, just alittle big, but I wouldn't say it blocks as much as I had hoped. Direct sunlight can still make it through. I had a car with tinted windows and I like that more. But I can see through it just fine, perhaps any more shielding and that would be difficult, I was just hoping for it to be more like the tinted windows.

The unit arrived in good condition and the instructions on the website were fairly easy to understand and follow.The suction cups were flattened so I soaked them in hot water as instructed, but they never really got into the proper shape and remained a bit flattened, which made it difficult for them to stick to the glass.It also was a little difficult to attach them to the rim of the shade because the fabric kept sliding and rolling. It took multiple attempts until I was able to get them "clamped" on.When I finally got it situated and closed the hatch, two cups fell off and I had to start over. They finally remained on and the fabric itself is sheer enough to see thru while driving. I don't know how much shade it actually provides but I'll see over time, and if it stays in place.Overall, it does its job okay but a bit difficult to put together.
