This is super cute and every one laughs when they see it. If you have a stressful job and can see your vehicle out a window. It's a quality chuckel every time. I am returning only for the fact it is 4" short on each side. If they made it in a larger version I would buy it in a second.

I previously had a "boring" foldable (umbrella style) sun shade for my car and was super disappointed when the Texas sun dried it out so I was excited when this one popped up in my search for a replacement. It's cute and effective. It is VERY user friendly and as long as you're not a compulsive neat freak (like I am) then you will be able to quickly and easily put it up and take it down in seconds-(I need to have everything neat and straight when folding it back up so it does take me a few minutes more to be completely satisfied when it is folded). It has a small loop on the end that I use to put in on my purse holding hook when I am driving so it is within easy reach to put up when I get where I'm going. No more "too hot to touch" steering wheels and seatbelts..seat belts... My car is noticeably cooler and it's been surprising considering Texas is in the middle of an EXCESSIVE heat wave (111° at the hottest point of the day) so it is definitely a great value for the price. If you're a person with a fun sense of humor, then you will ABSOLUTELY benefit from purchasing this sunshade

Easy to use and cute! It's a little flimsy but so far so good. It definitely makes the car cooler. I've been using it on 100+ degree days.

2nd Edit: I hate to have to write this, but after two months of use, the clip that keeps it open while on the dash no longer works. There wasn’t a specific incident where it noticeably snapped while opening or closing- it just no longer clicks in place. I tried using only the drop down mirror shades to hold it in place, but it doesn’t cover the whole window if it’s not clicked all the way open. Really, really loved this, but a two month life-span isn’t worth the money.Edit: We’ve used this for several weeks now, and it is definitely making a difference in this record-setting TX heat. It’s been really easy to set up and take down, and I’m so glad I chose this one!I bought this because it’s cute, and I’m happy it fits my Kia Sorento’s windshield really well. I’ve never had an umbrella-like shade before and it definitely felt weird opening it in the car the first time. It’s a little awkward to maneuver it once open, but possible. I feel like it’s easier to store this shade than the accordion style shades since it folds up into an umbrella shape and size. It sits a little farther from the window that I thought it would because it can’t be placed past the mirror, but still seems to keep the sun out and still looks good from the outside. I am pleasantly surprised mine did NOT smell like the listing states— I was prepared to let it air out in porch for a couple of days before testing, but it wasn’t necessary.

Review: Okay, let's be real. This windshield shade is the cutest darn thing I've ever seen. It's like Mary Poppins designed a sunshade for my car! I was so ready to be the envy of the parking lot, strutting with my adorable umbrella shade. But alas, it was not meant to be.The first one snapped faster than you can say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." I thought, "Okay, maybe it was just a fluke." (I'm an optimist, what can I say?) The kind folks sent me a replacement, and I was back in business! ...For about two whole uses. Then snap went the arm again! It folded like a cheap lawn chair at a picnic gone wrong.Seriously though, this shade is adorable, but the quality is about as sturdy as a wet napkin. If they could just figure out how to reinforce those flimsy arms, they'd have a real winner. Until then, I'll be sticking to my boring old rectangular shade. (Sigh.)

I have an ‘06 Hyundai Accent sedan with a broken/missing sun visor on the passenger side. I decided to give this umbrella style sunshade a try since the accordion ones always require both sun visors to be down and never stay up in my car.This worked so much better than I thought it would!! I almost broke it putting it in the first time tho because my windshield is a little too small for it but I made it work. I don’t like that my mirror ends up on the outside but I love that there’s a Velcro strap you can tie around the rear view mirror, which made it stay in place really well. Doesn’t collapse or open smoothly like an actual umbrella but it does the trick. It still sags a little on the passenger side but it’s still WAY better than my old one. Would honestly work better in a car with a bigger windshield tho. It also has a faint smell but it already started going away as I aired it out for a few hours.Super cute! Would recommend!

On the first use the handle broke apart already. The umbrella is held on the metal supports by the cheap little plastic pieces that connect tags to clothing at stores. To made it even more ugly those plastic pieces are white while the umbrella underside is black so they are even more of an eyesore.
