The dirt trap works ok in making the water less dirty but does not make a big difference to me. The difference is seen when the particles settle to the bottoms but this takes a long time.

Product is about a third the height of my current dirt trap and does not fit a 5 gallon bucket as well. The design of the product seems to do as good a job (maybe even better) than my current one. No issues found so far.
