Easily cut through the old seatbelt I had, I have no doubts it will cut through the ones in the car if necessaryNo I didn't try it breaking a window but the punch dented the steel plate. I expect it to work.

Saw a YouTube ad and thought I need this. I had the traditional windshield breaker but the as made sense and I like me the size and effectiveness so I got. It even came with a thick circular glass to test it out.

Very simple but effective tool to use in an emergency! When I tried using the glass breaker on the sample enclosed with the tool it worked well and was very simple to use. I bought one for each of my family members!

I worry so much driving near water with my grandchildren. This device is awesome. The best part is the glass to practice on in the package. My husband and I argued because he thought he could break it with his pocket knife. Needless to say it was impossible! This device perfectly breaks it into pieces not this pieces that can cut you. Mounts easily and gives me such piece of mind. Thank you!Only complaint is the O ring in cap will not stay on but that is minor.

No understandable use instructions and not an item that intuitively anyone would know how to use.Not good in emergencies as it is too complex.

got a sample piece of glass round 1/8" thick, 2 3/8" diameter. I used a rag laid the glass sample on the rag placed the glass and rag in a box; pressed the window breaker against it. Applied pressure, the result smashed the piece of glass to pieces.What it will do on a car window I would think pretty much the same, car windows are supposed to be shatterproof.

I received them and they BOTH LOOK THE SAME. The directions were covered with a Label. No other directions.... Eh.... not sure if I'll return. why can you undo BOTH ENDS.....
