I ordered the Caraway pots without the steamers. I had a steamer from my other pot but turns out it did not fit, so I bought the caraway steamer. Though VERY pricey it is VERY well made and works really really well.

I bought the 8" steamer for another brand of cookware. My saucepan is a true 8". The inside diameter of the steamer is about 7 1/4", so it fits fine in my saucepan. However the top of the steamer is only about 7 1/2", so my saucepan's 8" cover does not fit inside the top of the steamer.The steamer is very high quality and I'd recommend it. My comments are only about measurement. It would be nice for the company to display an image with actual measurements.

Perfect size for most steaming purposes. Stores easily inside Dutch oven. Nice accessory.

This is the perfect size for cooking for two. Pasta, steaming vegetables, whatever you prefer. I really enjoy this insert.
