We have tested hundreds of cheap viola bows and chosen this one as our favorite this is the best deal on any viola bow under $100. In our opinion, ,much better than a cheap Pernambuco viola bow weight: ~ 70 grams. T his carbon fiber viola bow is manufactured to replicate the perfect weight and curve of an expensive Pernambuco wood bow. If you're spending less than a bow, we recommend you go with carbon fiber. Any less of a quality wood bow will not give you the right weight distribution or curve. We prefer it over the presto viola bows. Many times better than the LaSalle viola bows, of course. Perfect viola bow upgrade if you have purchased a kremona, Mendini or Cecilia outfit. High quality hand made carbon fiber composite viola bow. Nicely decorated copper mounted ebony frog. Quality Siberian horse hair. Great balance. Very nice arch with good bounce and action. Rosin has never touched this bow. Use your own favorite viola bow rosin. Full size viola bow for 14" - 17" violas, carbon fiber viola bow, black viola bow.

Bows are rather a confusing purchase! They range from pure junk. . . . .to thousands of dollars!!I grew up playing on a decent quality viola, with a decent wooden bow. Over the past years of playing, and using various bows, I've found the better quality carbon fiber type to my liking, and know that it will last forever, keep its shape, and is quite a good choice for an entry, or intermediate level viola bow!!Slightly light weight, but has good quality horse hair, and produces a strong, even sound across the strings.

Got this for a high school orchestra student after their old bow stopped tightening. We had previously replaced the hair on the bow at a local repair shop. The new bow arrived fast, and works well. Its a good weight, and I've heard no complaints from the teenager. So it might be amazing.

Nice carbon bow.It looks cheap. Very plastic. But it tensions good, well balanced.Bow hair is not bad. No need to rehair. It colored little yellow, not whitening process. It worth the price. I used a lot of low price bow. Buy from aliexpress bows are similar quality with this, but this has fast delivery.a little bit heavy than common carbon bow but it has good attatchment with string.Bow case is included, Black hard thick paper. It can be use for bow case.I satisfy with this product and considering additional bow.

I just received my second bow from Fiddlerman, this time a viola bow. As the precedent violin bow impresed me a lot, I was sure that the viola bow from them will be as well a good one. And I was right :-). I love how stable is, very well centered (concerning the the spiccato point), very well balanced (not being havier at the tip) and of course, a very good sound!

Like it initially, but after playing it for a couple more days, I found this bow cannot make enough rich sound for me. Frankly, this bow is better than my current bow, which is really surprised me by its inexpensive price. I decided to return it, because I need something better than this.Cheap but good quality, I definitely recommend this bow to newbie and intermediate level player.Based on the price and quality, I do want to give a 5!Updates: I ordered D Z Strad #812, and I love it. D Z Strad #506 is a good bow based on the price, but it occasionally makes squeak sound. I returned #506, and kept #812, because I need a better bow.

Took this out to play for the first time yesterday and all the hairs popped out of place. Never seen this happen with a bow before... It wasn't even fully tightened and I had only played for about a minute before it broke.I loved the weight/feel at first, just disappointing that this is what I paid for. Anyone else have this happen?
