This is a nice little device because you can mount it just about anywhere, but you must mount it at the level stated in instructions. The only annoying thing might be that there’s a little green light that flashes let you know it’s active so in a dark room at night and literally lights up the entire room however, that’s not a problem you can put a piece of tape on that too make it dimmer or crick completely. There is a digital readout screen so you’ll know that it’s still active. These are nice because you don’t need an electric plug-in. Their battery operated.

Well, I got this about 8 months ago and I'm still here so I guess that's a plus and that means this thing works. It was a great deal, simple to install, and it's still blinking 8 months later so it must be good quality. It's not big and bulky and I'm very thankful to have the peace of mind that my family and I are safe from carbon monoxide.The one thing that might possibly bother someone is that it blinks every 30 seconds or so but you could probably put a little piece of tape or something over it if it was that big of deal, it's not real bright or anything. I just thought I'd mention it.

It's a cute compact carbon monoxide detector & alarm for a good price mine was around $10. There is no instruction on how to remove the battery cover you don't pull it up it'll break instead slide it out it's a little tight. The battery orientation is displayed in the molded plastic on mine.When I clicked buy I thought I was purchasing something that would monitor and display the PPM during normal operation because the marketing photo shows a green light with the PPM displayed. I thought mine was defective the display is blank during normal operation another review confirms that is what you get. This looks like deceptive marketing, so I'm being incredibly generous giving it 3 stars. I' suspect other brands are being deceptive too for battery powered units, watch the videos to see if the unit displays PPM during normal operation if that is a feature you're counting on.Amazon confirmed the unit is authentic so I am returning the unit due to the inaccurate website description and will look for a battery powered unit that provides or has a status button to display PPM during normal operation.

This seems to be ideal for its detection.Sticks nicely to the wall and lasts a long time for the battery.

Took this to Mexico on vacation with me, it's small, so perfect to pack. The light does blink, but just turn it over or hide it while sleeping. Had no issues with it. The price is good too.

This detector is something that everyone should have in their homes. My only issue is, I’m not 100% positive that it is on and ready. I followed the instructions but it just keeps flashing a green light. I’m hoping it’s on and working. That’s my only issue so far.
