I did not want to go through the steps to install a monitor or drive nails into the wall. This is a good alternative. I set this device on a table underneath the smoke alarm. I'm pleased to see a small light flashes periodically thus letting me know that it is active and monitoring the space. This is an easy, inexpensive way to monitor. I will likely put this in my suitcase for any international trips, why not add an extra measure of safety.

We haven't had any issues with our Carbon Monoxide Detector. It's been on zero since we got it over a year ago and we're all still alive. So, I give it a five stars because it's doing its job!

I bought one of these detecters on May 8th, 2024 and hung it at my elderly friend's home. I thought her old one was shot. Today it went off, the fire dept. was called who called out the gas company and they found out that the levels of carbon monoxide were at dangerous levels. The gas company fixed the problem. So today I just bought 2 more of them for my home.
