About this item

  • Easy Installation: This plug-in carbon monoxide detector ensures continuous monitoring to protect your family. It runs on 110V AC power, requires no wiring, and is portable enough to take with you while traveling.
  • Alarm Standards: The detector provides alerts based on different carbon monoxide concentration levels. For levels under 50 PPM, no alarm will sound, but the LCD will display the current concentration. Between 50-100 PPM, the alarm will activate within 80 minutes; between 100-300 PPM, the alert will sound within 30 minutes; and for levels over 300 PPM, the alarm triggers within 3 minutes.
  • Highly Sensitive and Fast Response: Equipped with an advanced carbon monoxide detection chip and electrochemical sensor, this detector quickly identifies odorless, invisible, and deadly carbon monoxide in the air. It responds swiftly at the first sign of danger to keep you safe.
  • User-Friendly: Designed with a simple test/reset button for easy operation. When dangerous levels of carbon monoxide are detected, a red light will flash, and an 85-decibel alarm will sound, alerting you to the hazard and helping safeguard your family from CO exposure.
  • Versatile Use: This carbon monoxide detector is perfect for various environments, such as kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, hotels, or during outdoor activities like barbecues. It's also ideal for enclosed spaces like garages.

It is easy as plugging it in and having the comfort of being safe. No assembly or manual button pressing necessary! It is a little bright, but nothing you cannot get used to. It definitely has a loud enough alarm to wake you up when needed though (via test, not because it actually went off. Whew!)

Plugged it in and the numbers zeroed out like they should. According to the manual you can re-calibrate it if it doesn't zero out but mine was fine. I was very surprised how small it was. I planned to use this near my furnace but based on how small it is this could be used for traveling as well. I don't see any battery backup compartment like many CO detectors have.

I bought this CO2 alarm to replace one I had in my bedroom that reached its end of life. (It just wouldn't stop beeping and when I looked it up online, that's what the website said.)This alarm beeps to let you know it's on and setting itself up. It's got a loud beep to it, which is what you want.Like all of these alarms, it gives you a number of related tasks that you'll probably never do, like testing it weekly and cleaning it monthly. The instructions also tell you never to place the alarm in or even within three feet of kitchens, garages, furnace rooms, or bathrooms. It would be nice if the important instructions, such as these, were listed on a sticker on the unit itself. I'm not going to save this slip of paper. Here is the only problem I have with this unit. When it's on, it emits a green light. This light is SUPER BRIGHT. It's going to disturb my sleep. I'll either need to find a piece of black tape to cover it, or put it behind my bed. Not sure if putting it behind a bed will reduce its effectiveness, though. The units are ideally installed on the ceiling or on the wall close to the ceiling. Maybe I'll just move it to the hallway. For a device that's supposed to be placed in every bedroom, they sure didn't make it conducive to a sleeping environment!

Got this to augment the existing CO detectors in the house. This one is going to go down by the furnace for early warning. Operation is simple, plug it in and let it do its thing. No battery backup however so if the power is out you lose its benefit. Simple display with test function, numeric display of CO level and indicator lights. While I would not feel comfortable using this as my only CO alert device, it's a welcome addition to the bigger picture.

This is a great safty device. We have primarily heat pump heat but do have several LP gas fireplaces. If a flue should become clogged it could vent carbon monoxide into the house.Inexpensive way to protect your family.
