I love the rustic look of this hanging swing seat. However, we left it out over the winter and noticed some discoloration. I’d recommend putting it away before winter seasons to keep it looking its best. Overall, it's a nice addition to our outdoor space!

Swing is really nice. Wood grain is really pretty. Slippery though, so I put a piece of no skid tape on the seat.I picked this one because the hemp rope on the other one that sells on Amazon has now broken 3 times. I bought 3 swings. All broke. This is swing number 4. This one seems much sturdier. BUT the straps that come with it are wimpy, and worse yet, the rings on the straps have a flat edge that will eventually fray the straps. That is also happened with the hemp rope swing until they changed the rings to rounded edge ones. So, I'll be using this swing on the old straps with the round edge rings. Be careful with the straps on this one. They WILL get torn and worn out against the rings. See attached pics. Just when you think one seller finally understood that, another sell pops up and sells something dangerous all over again.Seller: consider changing the rings and using bigger straps.

I ordered these instead of the usual playground curved swings and they are not only prettier but my daughter likes them better. She said the curved ones dug into her hips. The only caution would be to get the skateboard type sticker to keep the littles from sliding off. My daughter is 15 so doesn't slide off but the younger neighbors, when swinging higher, slide right off.

This swing is beautiful to look at that’s for sure but it wasn’t thought through fully. First and most important as an adult I couldn’t even swing with out slipping off. Kids didn’t stand a chance. Basically making this product useless “as isâ€. However I am a logical thinker and bought nonslip tape and applied it to the top of the swing, which has worked out but cost me an additional $10. For an already pricey swing. Returning it would have wasted more time and I value my time. Last is the board does not stay parallel. So if my little one wants to swing belt down run push off, it’ll drop him on his butt as the string pulls through the board and shifts it straight up and down. Some add one and changes and this product could be great.

I needed a swing for a small backyard and this is perfect for under the verandah. It was easy to put up and is super secure. It's strong enough to hold an adult so even I get to have a go. And it is so nice looking that I don't mind keeping it up all the time (though it's easy enough to take down if I need to). The whole family loves it! Absolutely recommend!

The swing seat is excellent but the ropes are not kind on hands. . We have overcome it by winding tennis racquet wrap around them.
