The playmat is a rubber playmat and is very well made. The art/print on it is very nice and clean, and the fact that it also has zones that don't disrupts the art is very nice

I bought this because I am getting back to Yu-Gi after a century. The play-mat feels very well made, its thick, its heavy (like it should be), it has a very good material in the bottom and the edges are super cool. As you can see in the picture, cards fit perfectly with and without sleeves, and the art is fine. Its a good fit for the price, from my point of view. I am happy with what I got.

I'm not familiar with yugioh playmates but this one feels great, super sturdy (maybe too much) and looks sexy af. If you like to fold in half your playmate, this isn't for you. I do not recommend to fold this thing, it's too thick. Not the best one for portability for same reasons. Still very pleased with my purchase.

My grandson loves this mat. But wished they would have rolled it to ship it cause they folded it and we had to work out the fold lines and get it to flatten out.
