So far this is a great purchase at a good price. Worked perfect for my 73 f100 2 wheel drive truck. Replace the steering coupler or rag joint at the same time.Edit: 8/4/23 and still works well. No complaints and no leaks.Edit: 7/14/24 still works perfect

Installed this after 2 weeks developed a leak..Called Cardone they don't sell to the public. so you can't deal with then directly . They told me this gearbox is guaranteed for 3 years. They in turn told me to call Amazon that the Warranty is what ever Amazon's policy is. They told me to go through Amazon. Called Amazon. They don't have a prevision for exchanges on these. Their policy is Refund and Repurchase That's not a warranty in my book especially when the price between when I bought this and now has gone up. I expected an exchange and an horned warranty. Not a runaround still not solving my initial problem.... I'll buy local over the counter from now on...

Leaks. For my old truck. Did take lots of the steering slack up which is nice.

Don't know what to say, except seems well built and doesn't leak all over the driveway like the one I replaced did. Great price too. I'd love to send back the old unit for rebuild, but they didn't charge a core and I don't know if they want it, so you'll have to recycle the old one. I wish it didn't have the play in the steering, but I've been told by more than one person that's a Ford thing, so I don't think it's from Cardone. A good product at a great price! I would buy again.

work real good on what i used it for . bolts on inside of frame and sets on top of frame. took a Peterbilt 379 shrunk it put on a 1978 dodge motor home frame

does not fit as described, it had completely different mount points.. seems to be a good product, just make sure you know what your getting

Go elsewhere. Product leaks after 2 months as others have stated. Not worth the hassle.
