Got this to replace the worn out steering on my 2011 Troybilt Pony. It's on it's last leg anyway and I'm trying to get every last bit of life out of it. Just need it to last through this season, so I'm piecing it together as inexpensively as possible. This kit was perfect for that purpose for the cost. Had no trouble getting it installed and it works great. I might even be able to get another season or two out of the mower. It will fit multiple models, so don't worry that there's extra parts.

Quite the stinker to install, but all parts fit perfectly. I could have probably been ok with just installing the steering column, but I opted to replace all components since I could not visually inspect cam gear without removal. With new tires and rims installed the mower handles like new now. Made in China, as usual.

I have a small engine shop I have bought this part a few times they are built with a great quality and are as good as original equipment parts they fit great work as they should and are great value the price is great I would recommend these parts and will continue to use them as long as I can get them

So, it comes with everything and everything fit fine. This worked great for almost a year.The bottom bolt that holds the steering shaft down has come out and is somewhere in the yard from what I can guess. I was a mechanic in the army for 4.5 years and I'm sure that I know how to tighten everything down well so I'm quite sure it wasn't for the bolt not being tight....I would suggest to use locktite on that bolt to all others.I hope the manufacturer will reach out and tell me the bolt size so I can get a replacement because I am not going to order a whole kit for that bolt and spacer... Please help!?

The steering shaft gear and the steering gear the bell crank seems to be of decent quality but neither one of two supplied bushings for the end of the shaft are the correct thickness it seems for my application (2011 Craftsman LT2000). One was either too tight because it was too thick and the other one was too thin (Too much slop) and definitely different in comparison to the MTD factory original. Tried to add a washer to act as a shim/buffer and there is still a little play. Will needs to see how it holds up.
