MAKE SURE IT FITS
This item fits most General Motors GMT800 heavy-duty 2500 and 3500 trucks, you'll need to check the output shaft to the pitman arm and count the master splines. This gearbox has 3 master splines, but there was also another version available with a 4-master-spline output, so verify which one your truck has before ordering!

Had installed a competitors rebuilt gearbox (A1) , truck pulled to the left , jacking the tires off the ground with it running it turned by itself to the left. Started looking online and seen 50% of the installs were having issues pulling and leaks on and on , install this box and WOW love to drive the truck again , drives like new if not better , it was well worth the money Thank you So far 3600 miles on it

I put this steering box in my 2006 Duramax and in less than a year it was worse than my factory steering box. Don’t waist your money JUNK JUNK JUNK

I haven't been able to try out the steering gear yet because I'm waiting on parts to modify my power steering line because of the way they make these Chinese steering gears.It bolts up and looks similar but they've casted it differently from the original and it doesn't work for my application. My power steering line droops over the side of the round cylinder and then goes up. They have made a square cast with bolts at the cylinder and the power steering line can't drop over and go up. I pulled the factory number right off my old steering gear to get this gear. After doing some research and looking at other sellers steering gears at various websites they all sell the same Chinese steering gear with same casting. So I'm switching that one power steering hose to a -6AN line to remedy the problem.UPDATE: if you decide to go the route I took with 6AN fittings have your local hydraulic shop make your hose with swivel heads. The store bought 6AN hose will not hold up to the pressure the steering system puts out on full lock. It will just blow out at the fitting. So far my new hydraulic hose and steering gear work just fine.
