Description says complete unit NEW. I went to install and found.1. No grease boot for pitman arm2. No nut or washer for pitman arm3. This is the most aggravating. PITMAN ARM THREADS LOOK LIKE HAVE BEEN POUNDED ON WITH A MAUL.This is a remanufactured unit or someone else's return. Either way it's useless and my schedule has now been pushed to the right. I'm returning for a refund. At least they are picking up return shipping

I replaced this as well as the pitman arm on the passenger side during an engine swap on a 98 K1500. Install was super easy with the motor out. Major difference in steering slop. No regrets! Glad I did this!Your instal experience may suck if the motor is in the truck. Kinda tight in there.

I bought it to replace my old gearbox. This gearbox is rebuilt and it seems the only thing it was done was change all seals, gaskets etcetera. After install it the gearbox has a lot of play, I tried to adjust it and reduce the play a bit but not completely. I rebuilt my old gearbox and is working better than this one. Before you consider buying a rebuilt, try rebuilding your own, you might get a better job than buying this one. Better yet, get a new you if you can afford it.
