I do enjoy having waffles on occasion. I can't remove the waffle plates for cleaning on my Belgian machine, so I rely on this excellent brush to clean the non-stick surfaces. The bristles are tough and stiff but they don't make scratches. They release any stuck on bits and I use a bulb blower to puff out the loose crumbs that remain. A once-over with a damp rag finishes the cleanup. This brush is a bit expensive for what it is, but it does do the job. I can't speak for how long it will last, but after a few uses I don't see any wear or splayed bristles. A good purchase, I think.

This brush was suggested on a website about waffles and I've been experimenting with cooking different stuff, from tater tots to cookie dough in the waffle iron, which can result in some dark crunchies between baking, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's a little expensive for a single purpose tool, but it works great and it doesn't scratch the non-stick surface of my waffle iron.

The bristles feel pretty durable, but unfortunately this brush does very little to remove residue from our commercial waffle iron. I would say it gets about 25% of the crumbs.

I have struggled to clean the inside spaces of a Brussels Waffle maker with very deep sections. I had no idea this brush existed but now that I do, I am grateful for it. The bristles are very firm but they don't scratch the surface. We made chocolate chip waffles and this brush removed chocolate that I could not even see in the crevices. In addition to the firm, heat resistant bristles, the handle is made of resin, not wood so I can put it in the dishwasher.

Pizzelle irons with intricate grooves and high heat near 400 degrees Fahrenheit are hard to clean.This brush makes it much easier!
