Use this brush for basting meats on the grill. Works much better that the traditional fiber brush. Very well made.

The handle is definitely longer than I expected. But I have other Misen utensils and it's kinda nice to have them all easily accessible in my utensils crock. I have a smaller pastry brush from a different brand that lives in a drawer because it's too small to be on the countertop as a utensil. So it just depends on what your preference is. I wish it came in different handle lengths so you could choose.This is a high quality silicone brush. It feels super durable. I feel the bristle length is perfect. Recommend, provided you're aware that this is a big one!

I like silicone pastry/basting brushes, as they are easy to clean. Also, the bristles are good at holding and distributing liquids and oils. This is a pretty good one. Large enough, without being oversized. Easy to hold, easy to use, easy to wash. This is of a nice size for basting meats or vegetables as they roast or grill. The handle is long enough that your hand won't need to come too close to the heat, and the head is big enough to get good coverage. I used it to baste a half-chicken I roasted, and found that it worked perfectly. I only needed to quickly pull the pan towards the front of the oven, as this brush is long enough to reach inside, grab the juices in the roasting pan, and distribute them nicely over the partly-cooked bird. The head really does hold the juices well, and the whole unit is of a nice size for working with larger items, while still being easy to store in a drawer or utensil crock. And a silicone basting brush is a million times easier to use and to clean than one of those bulb basters. This would work perfectly for your Thanksgiving turkey as well.

This is so much better than when they first came out! I had to get this because I got new casserole dishes and when I sprayed with the new oil sprayer it just didn't do the job and the food stuck horribly. So I got this and it worked perfectly! I can't wait to be able to use this on other dishes. This is a definite worth it buy if you cook or BBQ

All the Misen kitchen tools I have are great and this brush is no exception. Heat resistant makes it good for bbq and pastries alike. Easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

What can I say about this baster other than it works. I love how it picks up the sauce & holds it with minimal dripping while I baste my fish... & best of all it washed out so incredibly easy! Wow. Why did I wait so long to get one of these? Highly recommend!

This has been a game changer in the kitchen with working on baking. It evenly brushes egg wash and i will never go back to not using one.
