Worked well to replace my fuel sender unit. The connectors on top had become corroded so my 2000 Xterra wouldn’t start (took a long time to diagnose this one!). This part worked as a perfect replacement. Seemed easier to slide in & out of the fuel tank than the OEM part (not sure why.. perhaps my floater arm had become bent on my old one?).The main difference I noticed: on the plastic tubes where you attach the hoses, there is a ridge on each one (where you slide the colored hose clip over, to secure it in place). The ridge on the new part is squared off and a tiny bit thicker. The ridge on the OEM part is thinner and slightly rounded. This made it harder to slide the hoses on the new one than it was to slide on & off the old one. Luckily, this kit came with replacement clips because I mangled a few. We sprayed WD40 to help them slide on. Good news is, once they’re on there, they are definitely secure! Bad news is it takes a bit more muscle to put them in place. Otherwise, no complaints! New gasket was great, along with the other spare pieces.

2003 Nissan Xterra 3.3 v6Didn't work right out of the box. Fuel sending unit was getting power, but fuel pump (Also new) was not. After diagnosis I found the connections for the fuel pump must be broken inside the white plastic of the sending unit. Looked fine, but didn't work. That's what I get for trying to get parts quickly.

It’s an aceptable item for its price! Need some sort of mechanical knowledge to arm and install, not sure if it’s accurate on measurement but at least have an idea ;On the downside, doesn’t come with any instructions and disassembled.

Pump wire harness do not fit / pump wire and sending unit wires do not line up. This manufacture error cost me several hours and a few days of down time and miss leading me that I also had a bad fuel pump. I had to get a mechanic an a auto electrician to work on the truck. It cost a lot .

The plastic seems to be very brittle broke in a few places was able to reuse parts from the old one. Would have sent it back but needed the truck running again.
