Installation
1. Drill two holes on the wall and install the expansion tube into the holes.
2. Align the wall plate with the the thermostat panel.
3. Screws through the expansion tube to fix the wall plate and the thermostat panel.
4. Put the thermostat on the panel of the thermostat.

We had an old builder grade thermostat which did not go with our smart home aesthetic.This Ecobee thermostat gives value for money and overall looks great!I recommend getting someone to assist with installation but you can do it yourself if you are a DIYer.With the app, it is easy to use and set up scheduling.*I did not use the wall plate it came with. I had purchased a separate one from a third party to elevate the look I was going for (as seen in the picture).Overall, I recommend this if you want quality, functionality and durability without breaking the bank.

Fits perfect. Looks much better than the factory one. I lost my factory plate when moving and questioned an off brand. Zero regrets. Just as good as the factory but the matte finish looks fantastic.

I have owned other smart thermostats and this product is the best yet. App is intuitive and gives plenty of flexibility. I live in AZ so for summer it is very useful to monitor the entire house and adjust temp based on when I am home, out or on vacation. Install was very easy and automated. Product is high quality. I do recommend the room sensors for helping to detect complex scenarios when you might need air on but the main thermostat is in a room/area that does not get much traffic (so it senses nobody is home). Easy enough to add on later but costs less to buy the bundle up front.

We like the alarm features of the unit with available cameras and sensors it was simple to set up. Using the thermostat with the app is what makes the ecobee with the money.
