My horse is hard on bell boots and it's tough to find boots that stand up to his tests. The velcro on these does not break down quickly, like some of the other brands I have used. The rubber is sturdy and won't tear easily, but is soft enough so it doesn't rub the hair off his ankles. So far these have lasted over 2 months. I will buy them again.

I used the measuring guide given by the website: my horse is 16.2, the larges are too small. Good quality but small for the size

I’ve used many types of bell boots over many decades of owning horses, and these are definitely the best. The double Velcro closure makes them very difficult for the horse to remove.

Although well made, the rubber is very hard. Since they do not turn, the place where the two ends come together is not smooth. Two hard edges. This caused injury to my horse. Bloody wounds. My horse normally wears large sized bell boots. Perhaps these run extra large and therefore each time her Pastern flexed the top dug into the soft tissue. Not sure but I can't use them again.

The boots themselves look like a great quality. Reading the reviews a lot of people said they ran small, so I went up a size. They were to big and actually rubbed sores in just a day. This could be avoided by putting the actual sizing from the company on this product.
