We bought the first of these islands in white with a light wood top. That one found a home in our laundry room. My laundry basket fits perfectly on the top shelf and there is space for other laundry-associated products on the bottom shelf. Mesh bags go in the drawer. The height is ideal for folding and stacking clothes. Next, after a search for a storage unit/TV console went on and on, I considered the "Island" again. In black with the walnut top, it looks great in our bedroom with space for games and DVDs on the shelves. This is a very versatile item; well-made, easy to assemble, no damage at all. We are very satisfied and the price is great, too.

I was on the hunt for something large and sturdy enough for our big and heavy microwave. I used the dimensions of my Microwave to look for a cart. Hubby took about 1 hour to assemble. It was the perfect fit and faux wood feels very sturdy and looks good. There is a lot of room on the shelves to store small kitchen appliances or pots and pans. It is almost perfect. I took away 1 star because the drawer seems a bit flimsy. It feels like it’s not gonna last too long or it’s going to break eventually. Not a smooth open or close for the drawer. I use the drawer for kitchen cloths and oven mitts, nothing heavy.

Purchased this to have a bit more countertop space in our kitchen. In total, it took me about 1 hour to unpack and assemble it. All the parts were present and nothing came damaged. The instructions were fairly easy for me to follow, but I can see how some might find them difficult to use. There is always room for improvement there.The hardest part of the assembly was tightening the screws that secure the drawer guide battens to the underside of the countertop. The screw heads are close to the sides of unit so you have to tighten them a half turn at a time, and then reset the Allen wrench.Many have commented about the drawer not running smoothly, but mine works perfectly. I will say that it’s a very wide drawer, so if you try to push it closed from one end, it will twist and bind, so only use the handle in the middle to open/close it. It probably needs a different type of drawer slide mechanism to eliminate that issue.Once assembled, it’s secure and sturdy, and I’m very pleased with it.

Amazing kitchen island...I needed a place to put my over-sized family microwave and various other kitchen appliances. This works PERFECTLY. Its made VERY well and will stand the test of time IMO. Its fairly heavy when packaged (I recommed 2 people to carry it) but amazingly light went put together. Solidly built it comes together with actual durable screws and not that weird particle board junk. The top was the hardest part to put together bc you have to stand it on it "head" to screw it down. I person can put it together, took me an hour (because I wanted to do it right). I would DEFINITELY buy again if the need arises.

Unit is well made from solid wood. Easy to assemble.Parts made of solid wood, perfect fit and holes perfectly drilled. If you decide to use a power tool use a 2.5mm hex bit. Hex bolts are kind of soft metal so be careful not to strip. I had been eyeing this piece for quite awhile. Needed extra counter space for air fryer and food prep. Drawer is not very deep but extends entire width of unit . Perfect for chefs knives and utensils. Expect it to get many years of use, as long as it's not abused

Shipping was fast and item was packed well with all parts in pristine shape. Assembly was a piece of cake. My only tip is be gentle when assembling the drawer - I muscled one of the screws (not needed, just my style) and split the wood slightly. Did not affect the drawer at all, but be mindful. Drawer is shallow, but I like that to prevent it becoming just a junk drawer. I'm extremely happy with this piece and you can't beat the price for real wood.

Great look (cherry top). Easy to assemble. Been using for 2 months. Solid & stable, both shelves loaded. Good size, probably more convenient if placed against a wall. Drawer for small non-heavy stuff only. Only issue with delayed delivery .

Overall, fine for what you pay for, though I suspect you would get better value from Ikea. Sadly, with such good reviews here I didn't bother to check other options. The shelves fragile and doesn't seem sturdy enough to hold 50lbs as stated in their ad, I doubt the structure can hold 100lbs as advertised.

I actually use this in my laundry room as a folding table and a laundry basket fits on each shelf. Very happy with it.Easy to assemble and very sturdy.

Overall, good value for the price. Top is very nice quality and beautiful. But the rest is made of cheap wood that splits easily. I had three splits while putting it together despite the holes being aligned and not over tightening. I used wood glue to fix it and hopefully it will be ok. White finish is very sheer, damages easy and not very washable. I put a coat of polycrilic to ease cleaning and hopefully, protect it a bit better. Many reviews mentioned issues with drawer but I had no problem with it. Overall, for the price I paid, I am happy with it. It's a nice size, looks good and was easily put together, even if the quality is kind of meh.

I love the item. It is very heavy in its box. That being said I was really upset at delivery. They laid this heavy item that could easily smash against my screen door, so for me to retrieve this box I had to risk tipping it over so I could open my screen door. My main door was open so it was obvious someone was home. No doorbell ring either.
