I bought this on a whim not expecting much. Cheap things off Amazon usually are disappointing. This is an exception. It's comfortable to hold for grooming and most importantly, my cat adores it. He can't get enough of the thing! It doesn't do much for fur removal but it isn't supposed to. It's more for extra-good scritchies and it's very good at that! Don't buy it thinking it'll be like a deshedder or something or you'll be disappointed. Buy it for kitty happiness!

I have a cat that sheds like no other cat I've ever had and she leaves big ol' bunches of fur behind everywhere she goes and for my sanity I wanted to get something that would help clean that fur out before it gets all over everything and yet not be gross and nasty to clean. Something about a cat brush is just nasty to me. I know it's fur, but I don't like cleaning out a brush and it's just hard to do. Well, this thing pulls out a lot of fur and my cat loves it, so it's a win-win that way and cleaning it is simple and not gross. Just pull the fur off the comb and throw it away. Easy peasy Meow!

I have other combs for my cats and they both do an ok job getting out loose fur. But after I saw this comb demonstrated I knew it would be the best one for my cats. My cats didn't just like this comb - they loved it. The flexible teeth made this a more comfortable experience over the hard tooth combs. The curved teeth catches more fur and means I can comb longer before I have to stop and clean it out. And it does such a good job. After just a couple minutes of combing I got so much fur out of my cats. They look better and their fur is softer than with either of the other combs I have been using. I can tell that they won't mind everyday grooming with this comb. The handle is easy to hold which makes this more comfortable for me to use. And such a reasonable price.

This is very easy to use and clean up, but it doesn't grab any fur unless I use another brush to loosen the fur. I used the purple one in the photo first then this one, and it grabbed some loose fur.I love how easy this is to clean but for its purpose, it wasn't that great for me. My kitten doesnt mind it as much compared to the glove style brush, but still wants me to drop brushing her after a few strokes.It's made from plastic but it still feels a little hard to use on my kittens.If you aren't using this for cleaning purposes, and only brushing/massaging, then it serves its purpose, otherwise, I recommend the purple silicone one I have in my photo.

Overall, I really like this comb. The only problem I have is the teeth of the comb bend easily and I am constantly having to unbend them. Especially if one of my kitties gets chewing on it. Nice for calm, light combing, but definitely need a heavier duty comb to get rid of dander. Definitely worth the price.

As other reviewers have said, the comb doesn’t pick up a lot of hair, but it will fill gradually the longer you massage your kitty. As a massager, my cat approves. He will flop on the ground for rubbies as soon as a take a couple passes at his cheek/chin with the comb. He’ll let me comb him for several minutes at a go—much more than with any other comb or brush. So while this doesn’t get a lot of hair, it’s better than not brushing and my cat loves it. Fortunately, he’s a light shedder.

Looks just like the one I bought a couple years ago. Easy to hold & use. Tines are rigidly mounted, so don't flex over my cat's curves. Ok but not loved by my cat.
