I originally bought for my long haired breed, but it worked AMAZING on my short hair dog that doesn’t shed much. It managed to clean off a nice layer of shedding and had him smelling fresh!

This helped a geriatric, foster cat of mine to smell better. Even after I bathed him, he was stinky and this helped with that. But deshedding? I noticed no help in that department.

It doesn't do much more than wet the cats hair. The comb attachment is a nice feature but the foam itself does not have a nice scent, does not appear to clean the cat hair, and it not the best choice for these reasons.

My cats do love a good brushing. We've used human combs before but thought we would try this. They took to it just fine and it worked well with our two medium length hair cats.

We have some cats that get mats, we have another cat who definitely needs freshening up.I'm not sure it helped with the mats and it feels sticky. I have had better luck with just doing brushing/combing frequently. It will freshen up something smelly (we had a cat who had some bowel problems after a procedure) but that can be done with wipes.I'm not sure this is a necessary product and for me I try to be cautious about having anything on our cats that could be licked off.

I am a fan of FURminator products. I have high expectations for pet products and the FURminator brand never disappoints. This Foam Comb product was no exception. Bathing my cats is completely out of the question so I need to use a rinse free shampoo. I have used rinse free products before but always need to use a separate brush or comb. With the built in comb of this product, it makes it so much easier to use. You just press down on the pump and the product comes up and you just comb it though. The pump is nice because it makes no noise if you have a pet that doesn't like a spray sound. After you comb it through your cat's fur you can just towel dry. It is an easy process and because it is nice and quiet, by the time your cat figures out what is going on you are already finished the job. Great for pets who dislike the whole bathing and grooming process. It has a nice scent as well. Highly recommend this product for scaredy cats like mine.

This is marketed for deShedding, but the comb really doesn't do much of anything. I have a long haired cat and the comb just passes through like nothing. I'm glad I only tried the shampoo on a small area because the comb did nothing to get it out and I ended up having to get a wet paper towel and a proper brush to fix that area because the shampoo seemed to leave a sticky residue. The dispensing mechanism isn't great either. Not sure what kind of cat this is meant for, but really did not work for a long haired cat.

Grandcat Sheds a Lot and this Didn’t Help but it’s a good Waterless way of Bathing my cat and it was easy to use
