Very good product that is comparable to the expensive name brand, and much cheaper. You do need to purchase one or save the original plastic ring of the name brand as these are just the bags. When the name brand one was gone, I saved the square plastic, removed the top ( it pulls off like a perforated container top). Then you can add one of these plastic bags ( don’t undo the folds) around the original brand name holder, place inside litter genie, put open top of litter genie on and this will hold the long roll of bags in place. Sounds complicated, but very easy to do, and saves $$$.

I was happy to find a way to use less plastic with the Genie litter box inserts. But they do not contain the cat pee odor like the name brand does. Went back to the original Genie litter bag replacements and the cat pee smell was gone. It’s a shame these didn’t work as well.

These are no where close to the original refills. The smell comes thru them. Don't recommend.Updated 12/26/2023 to say they split open when you change them out.
