While it was not as clearly labeled as some I have done, the end result was very nice. The end result was just like the photo and I bought another to give as a gift.

This painting is going to be absolutely beautiful when it’s done. However. Several of the paint colors were dried out solid so I had to order a second kit to have the paints to finish the picture.

I didnt have high expectations for the canvas. I was wrong! It was very detailed and lots of small odd shaped bits to paint. Was worth hanging in there to do this fun project. It took a combined 10 -12 hours. I added an extra row of scales to take up some of the large black corner. I added highlights around the eye socket to give it a moist look. Detailed the pupil a little more and added some extra shadow lines in the scales for a more 3D effect than it already had.Definitely recommend this paint by numbers!

the colors are fantastic. the finished painting is absolutely stunning. HOWEVER!! you do need to buy a bottle of "flow aid" (liquitex) to thin out the paints. too heavy to work with easily. but thats true for ALL paint-by-number kits.

this is the worst paint by number I've ever seen. they give you a "guide" but it's smaller then the painting. I've had to take photos of small sections and zoom in and guess. I would have returned this but my son has his heart set on it.
