And it performed beautifully. The wood was well seasoned and lite easily and gave a nice burn. Sadly I didn't do as well as the wood as I had my worst showing ever and I'd love to blame the wood I can't. 🙃

Color from one pack wasn’t enough to see vibrant color . I would recommend adding more packet to fire , but time great

This is now the 3rd post oak box i have purchased just to find it is wet, not kiln dry wood, cannot keep lit. They are horrendous for smoking food. My first order was 2 boxes, i figured a fluke issue then the next box same. Your product is horrible. I do not recommend to anyone.

I was really surprise at how little wood I got for the price, but it was great quality, burned for a long time, great for my brisket (post oak). I used the whole box in two smokes.

My wife got me my first smoker for Christmas and I was dying to try it out. My first smoke was a great success with this wood on New Year’s Eve. Family, friends and myself were amazed on how flavorful and juicy the steaks were. My first purchase as the Hickory. I’m definitely going to get the rest of the woods and keep experimenting.

These pieces are the perfect size, all uniform in size and super dry - very easy to ignite and long burn time (for the size).

Good size for offset smoker box. Large enough to slow burn, small enough to fit in clean through the door of my chargriller. Made temperature regulation easy with a pretty consistent time to feed the fire. Value is arguable since used half for a 5 hour smoke but was quick delivery so I consider access and dependability the price difference.-1 star because I had to clean bark off of almost every split.
