Already have seedlings growing! All that I planted came up! Seeds are always a better option than plants due to their cost.

Planted them in a large container and got more tomatoes than we could eat. They were probably a little smaller than they were supposed to be bc of the container but overall very satisfied. No disease!!!

Celebrity tomatoes have always been a favorite of mine. I've been growing them for over 20 years. The seeds I received germinated fine and they grew into beautiful tomato plants. The problem is the fact that they are not Celebrity. They are much larger and firmer after ripening. They also don't have the taste of a Celebrity. More like a store bought tomato that has no flavor and is incredibly hard. Next year I'll be going back to a reputable seed company and getting what I pay for.

Ordered twice. Of course you can't tell what you have until they start producing. I set out two 20 ft. rows of what I thought would be Celebrity Tomatoes, my favorites. Got a bumper crop of what look to be Porter Improved Tomatoes. First year to raise all of my plants from seeds. Not a total loss, but dissapointing. Seeds germinated well and thrived under the grow lights in February and March, before transplanting in the Garden.

I've been growing Celebrity tomatoes for years. Having never purchased from this seller before I decided to conduct an experiment pitting these seeds with those of a large "big name" (brand X) supplier. All seeds were sown at the same time in Promix. To my surprise and delight I saw 100% Germination versus 50% of the brand X. And these seeds popped thru as plants four days prior to any from brand X. I have found a supplier that provides over twice the number of seeds at half the price of brand X. I will follow each providers' plant growth from transplant to first blossom, first set, and first ripe tomato and report back.

These were not celebrity seeds. They were very hard skinned and textured tomato. They had very little juice, more textured like a Roma but round.
