It fits great, and installation was a breeze. It covers the buttons, so should keep that area clean. The reason I rounded it up is because the drawbacks aren't major. First, the texture doesn't match the console. Also, it's black, whereas the XLT is blue (not sure of the XL and Lariet so it may match them). Also the hinge looks like after a few hundred uses it might wear out. But overall, it's pretty nice, and is probably worth the cost.Just a couple of things to keep in mind. Since Ford set the system to default to Normal, if you usually go to ECO, you're going to need to raise the lid everytime you start your truck. Of course, that is not a fault of this item. Also, if you have a hybrid, and you use that slot for a credit card or pass of some sort, you'll not be able to close it. I keep a laminated park pass in mine, but I just folded it over, and it works fine. But, if I'm going to the VA for example, and need to show my ID on entrance, I'll have to have it opened so the ID will stay. A minor inconvenience, but like I say, it's not this item's fault.

Install is easy, adhesive is strong and the cover fits nicely over the buttons. Functions perfectly.

I've had my Ford Maverick for almost 2 years now, and I love it. Last year I got a golden retriever who loves to ride shotgun, and sometimes oversteps her bounds. There are many times she's stepped around my console and pressed one of these buttons.Quite simply, having this cover has put a stop to the inadvertent button pushing. It fits perfect, adheres strongly, and its easy to flip up the cover when you need to. A simple and effective product I'd recommend to all Maverick owners.

I no longer have to worry about dust or scratches on my gear shift buttons thanks to this cover. It provides great protection.
