This has been a game-changer for my leopard gecko now that his terrarium is near a drafty window during winter. It gives him the extra boost of heat he needs during the day AND overnight, without a pesky light in his eyes. I LOVE that in came in a 2-pack so I have a backup on hand. This is my first time using a CHE, but my standard heat lamps tend to have a short lifespan, so I’m really glad to have a spare on hand already. 🦎

Work very well, but extremely hot and will burn your animal. If you’re not careful make sure you’ve got it up away from where they can reach it. I wish it wasn’t so hot.

I live in north florida; when the cold temps arrive, I cover my potted plants and keep this “lamp†under the cover to keep them warm; it doesn’t get hot- just warm enough to keep my plants above 50 degrees F. -no damage-

Just the right size and worked so well my drqgon woke from brumating. He clearly was getting too cold and this really helps keep temps up in the winter.
