How to make a mayer mate tea?
Make a maker mate tea Step 1:
Put the bombilla straw into the mate cup set.
Make a maker mate tea Step 2:
Put the appropriate amount of yerba mate tea(3/4 is the best) into the mate gourd.
Make a maker mate tea Step 3:
Invert the mate gourd and shake so that the yerba mate tea is concentrated on one side.
Make a maker mate tea Step 4:
Put an appropriate amount of water and let stand for 10-20 minutes. Then add hot water at 60-70 ℃.

Ceramic gourd is slightly natural gourd shaped, which helps with the yerba mountain when water is added, versus a straight walled cup, a personal like. I find a straight walled cup annoying as water is added, the yerba is pushed up and out very easy, even when adding water very gradually. I personally get a better tasting yerba mate with this than straight walled gourds/cups.

Made with quality materials,it's easy to clean and the mug does not get hot, I'm new to the matte world and so far so good and it's priced lower than other alternatives I considered

This mate gourd has served its purpose since getting it and the bombilla has worked better than many others. Quality of the bombilla is a bit questionable but for the price it gets the job done

My mate came in with glue residue all over the lip, as well as damage to the leather wrapping. Very poor QC.Edit:Yerba gets stuck in the metal rim at the top, impossible to clean

I'm very pleased with the workmanship of this yerba mate gourd. The ceramic torpedo shape brews just like one of my Imperial calabash gourds, but without having to season this one first, or the meticulous care so it dries properly and doesn't mold after use. A quick rinse of the ceramic cup and it's good to go for next time... great for travel. Also, a ceramic gourd won't affect the taste of the current mate, the way previous yerba mate stored in the walls of the calabash can.
