I can't speak to cutting food with bones. But if you're getting this to make meat chips, you WILL be thrilled with it. HIGH quality. Wide base to cut a massive frozen prime rib roast.First i ordered an affordable deli slicer. JUNK. Then I ordered one of the cheaper frozen manual meat cutters.... JUNK. But this??!? NIIIIICE. No stupid suction cups at the bottom. Just nice rubber feet that grip the counter. DOUBLE blade. I cut my finger twice just looking at it. it's SHARP. But that's what you want, isn't it? Clean up was really quite easy. Stainless steel all around. Etched cm measurement on base. Handle is solid. The whole unit is solid. Total restaurant quality. It cut through a solid block of beef like butter. Thickness guard is perfect. You can "dial in" any thickness. Thin, thin, thin. I cut some of my meat chips so thin that you can see through them.Please take my advice. Do not get a 60 dollar version of one of these. You will just return it. it's thin gauge, wobbly, light. Small base. No brackets to hold the meat in place, etc...And unless you're going to buy a $350 dollar, 38lb professional grade deli slicer, that's going to take up 1/2 your counter space.... you'll be disappointed in anything less.This is not hard to use. It's well made and makes consistent cuts.And please get a couple sets of food grade ANSI cut resistant gloves. One set for cutting your food. And one set for when it's time to clean it.

Love this slicer. It works best on frozen items. I was able to slice steak very thin for hot pot. Also cuts through chicken bone and fish very easily. Occasionally when cutting fish it would get stuck on the skin but otherwise it is pretty easy to use and clean. Very glad I bought this.

I bought this bone slicer for rib bone, but it does not cut as easily as shown in the video. The machine is not stable when you cut the meat bone. I'm so worried that I will cut my hand accidentally.

Bought this product to slice my home made bacon. I received the device and proceeded to put it to use on slicing 2 5# slabs of bacon I just finished. The bacon sat in the fridge for 24 hours before slicing to firm up the meet. There was no instructions on which blade to use for what application as well as any direction on how to process different types of meat. I started with the straight blade with very poor results. Then I put the meat into the freezer for 45 minutes and tried again. The slicing was still poor. I put the bacon back in the freezer for 2 hours and changed over to the curved blade. I set the stop bar so it was thicker then I normally slice my bacon. It was over 1/8 inch thick. I finally had success. But didn't get a chance to try to slice it thinner, I went through all the meet. I also tried cutting cured sausage and had the same poor results. When paying $180 for something you should have a manual that gives you some direction of uses.The other issue I have with the unit is the description of the unit says you can cut up to 13 inches long. This is very deceptive, the screws used to set the thickness stop only allows about 8 3/4 inches before the screws damage your meat with the bolt head. The item would have to be very thin, and only the straight blade will allow the 13 inch cut.In my opinion the blades aren't very sharp. A sharper blade would help the device to cut softer meats.I will try some more test before I decide to return this item.

Corta fabulosamente el pollo sin ningun problema, estamos realmente contentos porq redujo nuestro tiempo de cortar pierna de pollo a 1/4 de lo q nos tardabamos
