I love this! It's more beautiful in person than shown in the listing! It's delicate, it's practical, it's as perfect for a dinner party as it is for every day use! It's the perfect size for a single stick of butter and the lid is not heavy, it's easy to remove and place back on the base. I feel the price is definitely a steal compared to expensive crystal butter dishes! It's casual, it's clear glass with the perfect amount of decoration to be used at a formal table setting!

Very durable Glass, easy to grip Knob on top!The Lid sits down inside the bottom tray slightly, however there is a tiny shelf area around the edge by which the lid perches. If you have ever noticed how some lids end up sliding around and butter all over, we do NOT have that problem with this design. It is exactly for East Coast single-stick butter (yes, we learned the hard way that not all butter sizes were created equal).This dish is very nice, looks great, we use 2 of them due to having a long dinner table for our large family. Easy to use, decorative enough to leave out all the time, easy to clean, serves us well.Highly recommended!

My husband uses butter regularly, on everything! Our butter dish sits out in the kitchen. We had a small clear glass butter dish with no handle on the lid. Always had finger prints all over the glass!This glass butter dish is attractive, with a simplistic design in the glass, a generous size and has a knob/handle on the lid. No more finger prints! Nice weight, great quality, looks attractive and made life a little easier!
