I got this mainley for the coupler itself and the shaft was a bonus. However I've not yet found a use the the shaft. I mean it's a nice piece of carbon steel ( quite hard ) but It's just going to sit im my drawer. I kind of with they lover the price and save the shaft. Anyway though, it's a nice coupler made of nice solid brass. The machining if well done and includes the grub screws which I was able to tighten really tight without stripping.I like it an ended up using it to replace another one on a CNC machine that had one with a stripped out screw therad. Nice.
