I bought this primarily as a steak holder to sear the fat caps on New York strips and picanha steaks. Used it for the first time and it worked perfectly. I was able to sear the fat and get it nice and crispy without having to hold each steak individually. It will function as a rib holder secondarily.

Very sturdy and easy to use and clean. Thick stainless steel rack that is great for cooking roasts and racks of ribs without cooking in own drippings.

Works great for a half slab, need two if you're doing full slabs or the ends will droop over and down onto the grill.
