Simple to install and works flawlessly. Was a little smaller than the original guage for my grill, but dropped in and had no problems. Some adjustments may need to be made to the hole for it depending in the grill. Seems to be good quality!

This product works fine but the one received looks different than the picture and is smaller than the one I replaced in the Charbroil Commercial. Still fits inside the Logo frame, just a bit more space surrounding the device. Not a big problem for me.

This thermometer works great in my Char Broil Performance 5-burner grill. It fits in the mounting plate and screws in with pretty much no issue. The only thing is that my mounting plate was in the shape of a D, but the post on the thermometer is completely round. Once I took some pliers and opened the mounting hole on the grill, everything was fine.Annoying that mounting post shape wasn’t mentioned in the description, but not enough that it was worth it losing any stars.

Installed in my Char-Broil gas grill. The original gauge failed after about 6 years. This one lasted just about a year and stopped working. I can tap on it and itvwill eventually read the temp, but I don't know if it's accurate.

This thermostat works as advertised. However, if you don't have a mounting bracket and you want to mount it directly to the grill like I did. Then you will need to make sure you have these additional accessories.1. 1/2" drill bit so the thermostat fits all the way down to the metal of the grill.2. A couple of washers that are as big around as the spacer that's on the backside of the thermostat.I installed this on a Char-Broil 3 burner Classic Grill. It did not come with a thermostat so I installed one. They are also called "American Gourmet".If you unscrew the wing nut from the thermostat you will see a round piece of metal that's about 3/8" around and approx 1/4" thick.The hole you drill in the grill needs to be 1/2" so that it sits all the way flush. Then you need to add your two spacers and those spacers also need to be 1/2" on the inside so it fits around that metal spacer on the thermostat.As long as you do that it will work perfectly and fit perfectly.

Works good, but had to drill out the backing plate to accommodate the gauge fitting through the hole in it.

Purchased this for a Napoleon Travel grill that didn't had a temp gauge. Found it wouldn't fit flush to the lid so added washers on the probe shaft to stabilize the mounting. Not ideal but has worked fine for two seasons.
