I purchased these for one job only in my home, I put them on the wall above my Cat Box (Self-cleaning one) just to be certain all odors are taken care of. They are perfect. I never have any odor around my cat box anymore.

Edit: I would like to change my review. I would like to give them 10 stars. Two weeks after we put them up in the room with the worst cat litter boxes, the smell is gone. Not masked, but gone. We've been fighting this room and it's poor circulation for years and nothing works completely. I was actually asked if I had done something different yesterday, because that room smelled, and I quote here, "suspiciously pleasant." Nope! Amazing. It took a minute, but it worked!Original review as follows:These are a lot bigger than I thought they would be. Not unwieldy levels of huge, but they are large enough that my immediate impression is positive.We put them all over the house. By cat litter boxes, in the bedrooms, by the fresh air intake for the house furnace, and a pair went into an old smelly pair of work shoes. They aren't magic. The house doesn't suddenly smell like sunshine and roses. But I have noticed over the past few days that there is a slight decrease in what we will call the scent of multiple felines. I figure if it's noticeable in just a few days, it's likely to get better over time until I forget about it completely. That is, obviously, the goal.The best part is that there are no chemicals to linger in the air we breathe. I might be one of "those" people, but if something can be accomplished without chemicals I'll take that route any day. Charcoal isn't dangerous to humans or pets, especially if it's just chilling in cute little cloth bags. And they are rather cute for what they are. I like the colors. I especially like the little pyramids.I'll be buying a second set for my father's house. His basement has a musty closed in scent that nothing seems to get rid of. Opening windows would likely help, but it's a basement. For the price and after my own experience, I feel good enough to suggest them to the people I love.

We had a very funky odor in our kitchen and were unsure how to combat it. Ordered these, They did not work immediately but they did the trick. And they can be reenergized by placing them in the sun so we have them for any other odor problems. I think they did as promised.

The closets and shoes were not smelling very fresh after we finished a new paint job. I wasn't sure if these really would work but I do believe in them now. There is no fragrance of a deodorizer like so many have. Just a fresher, less old smelling area where they are hung. I now have them in all the upstairs closets and believe they work very well. I did activate them in the sun as was recommended. Very pleased.

As described. We had bought a demo model car with 2500 miles on it. A few weeks after purchase, we started to notice a faint odor kind of like stale beer in the car. The dealer actually took it back and detailed it thoroughly, but the odor came back. I guess it's possible someone spilled beer down the vent grille below the windshield or something. So I bought a bag of these, and threw four of them around the car about 3 weeks ago. I just realized that I haven't noticed the small for a week or two. So I'm guessing either these did the trick, or the smell just wore off :)
