I use my grill as much as possible to cook stuff, since natural gas is so cheap. I've made a few pizzas on this thing and they come out just as good as when I use my electric oven. Also you don't have all that heat being dumped into your house [ Which is great in summer ]. It cleans up pretty easily. Worth it if you use your grill a lot and want to get more mileage out of it. Update April 2024, I decided to upload a picture of a DiGiorno frozen pizza that I heated on my natural gas grill. Just be sure to coat a very, very thin film of flour to keep the pizza from sticking to the stone. I also soak it in my sink first before I use a soft scrub pad to clean any dough / meat from it before placing it into the dish washer. I've made over a 100 pizzas on this thing and if you take care of it, it will last a long time.

Wow Very impressed with this Stone ware beautifully glazed and it works very well. i would highly recommend this product.

The pizza sticks and I have to scrub hard to clean the stone. I don’t know if there is a seasoning process. It appears to be a non stick surface. My old stone broke when my husband tried cooking pizza on the barbecue grill. It had the perfect seasoning even though it was porous when I first got it. I am not sure why this “nonstick surface†sticks but it does and super hard to clean.

I did not want to spend $100 on the pampered chef pizza stone so I decided to try this out. It works well and cleans easily. I'm happy with my purchase.

We made a pizza in the oven on this stone. What a difference it makes. the crust comes out perfectly crisp, but not overdone. It is easy to clean up, and being it is 14 inches, it accommodates a family size pizza. We have not used it on the BBQ, but will later on in the Spring or Summer. I would recommend it.

The packaging says to season the board. So I did. Then it also says not too. OOPS I already did and wow does it smell. I have left it in the oven to try to burn off the smell and it still stinks after a dozen times of heating it a lot. I would not buy this again. If you do.... DON"T season it, even tho it says to.

Stick free, solid and creates a crispy crust. Wish it was a bit bigger but its size makes it manageable. Follow directions exactly to avoid sticking/burning. Tried it on the bbq but it was too much heat to avoid burning.

This is the second stone I purchased, the first one was a cheap basic ceramic one, which cracked the first time I used it - it can't handle hot temperatures like this one I'm reviewing can. So far so good I've used it twice and it's been great to use. It's really good value for this type of stone, which is called Corrierite. Don't do what I did and buy cheap ceramic, it will probably crack.

Bought a second stone for the gas bbq. Not quite as thick as the other one. Seems to ok.
